To begin with, it's important to warmly thank all people who work in the field of education. The end of the school year was unusual for almost every Alma mater, but hopefully now it's a holiday time. Schools played an important role for students this spring. Despite uncertainty, they tried to provide the same attention, involvement and empathy towards every student. A great work has been done by educational and administer sectors. Students and their parents are on the verge of a new school year, preparing for new conditions that they have faced first recently.

The fresh update to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 education accelerator is being launched including acceleration of K-12 school application development. Development of K-12 school tools can now be accelerated, and a new functionality is added to:

Strengthen and grow students and family connections: information about homework, activities, events, grades, attendance, academic performance and school forms is available online, so a strong connection between school and home is build.

Control attendance: student's attendance can be easily analyzed via Power BI dashboard.

Moreover, connections between educational sector and students with their families can be performed.

Fundraising management: administration services are able to manage donations and build connections.

K-12 component is already been used by schools and their partners. K-12 was used by Mazik Global, Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner, for Virtual classroom to support remote learning. Using this app helps student to be updated on online meetings, teacher announcements and informational materials.

App that identifies how students keep up with studies and provides instruction supplied with additional educational materials was created by Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner Eduphoric.
